Interesting

I bought material for a specific quilt pattern when I first moved up here, but finally having the time to take it out and examine it closely... some of the patterns are gross! So, new idea...

I'm going to take the prettiest materials for that quilt, put the piece below, which is an outdoor flag, in the center... and sew small squares of the quilt material around it... the material is quite different than the quilt seen here, but it gives you an idea.

When finished I'm hoping it will be large enough to not only reach from one side of our bed to the other, but perhaps stretch all the way across the room. The colors will be gorgeous, vibrant and full of life!
