St. Paul Pioneer Press/Dispatch, Sunday paper's morning headline -
When in doubt, throw it out.
(referring to recycling)
First question I ask -
1. Isn't everything made from substances of the earth?
Second question -
2. Then shouldn't everything be recyclable?
Why then is there this constant quandary with recycling? And if everything isn't recyclable, why not? If garbage and recycling aren't doing the trick, which, apparently, they're not, why doesn't the government or even on a state-by-state basis, doing something more radical and permanent, instead of shipping garbage/recycling to other countries and polluting their lands?
When is someone going to have the cajones to actually start fixing problems instead of creating more?
