Wanted to go out to Hibbing next week and have a look around... town's activities are cancelled until April 20th.
Sporting events cancelled.
Social gatherings cancelled.
Many other venues cancelled.
Towns closing their borders.
Countries closing their everything...
I'm sixty-years-old and I have never in my life seen events like this because the flu came to town... so why now? Who are all the paranoid that require this, Big Brother telling them what to do? When we had the flu -when I was young- we simply stayed at home in bed and got better, but now, apparently, we need the government to make us freakin' paranoid and want to barricade ourselves inside until we get the ALL CLEAR.
Wait... what? We're all going to cower inside our homes until the ... government ... says it's all hunky dorey to go out and live again?

All these paranoid people are going to depend on their governments to say, okay, go out and live, go out and have fun, go out and socialize... You're waiting on them to tell you to do something? You're really going to wait for your government to tell you when it's okay for you to do something?
