The sky is falling, the sky is falling!

You know, I thought I'd heard it all when I started hearing all the murmurings about this coronavirus, until what I read in the paper today opened my eyes... to a lot of things.
This is the flu, the flu... it's the flu. The flu, people, the flu. It's not Ebola, the plague or MRSA... it's a strain of the flu. I hear about this from friends, in emails from friends and so on and so forth and I remind them that it's the flu. I guess people tend to forget that, annually, in the US alone, between 12 to 60 thousand people die of it yearly, that's the US ALONE... but that's not the reason I'm writing this particular thread.
No... it's about what I read in the paper, in the business section. How, you ask, can anything relating to this flu be in the business section? Well, it seems now the government has an 'out' when it comes to the collapse of the economy, since, as this article states and I quote, "Economic forecasters say that the effects will hurt growth in the United States this year even if they do not intensify - and that if the virus becomes a global pandemic it could knock the world economy into a recession." So now when the housing market collapses and subsequently every other thing in America follows suit, not surprisingly just like 2008, the government and all the greedy SOBs will have some where to point their nasty fingers, instead of at themselves, towards that naughty pandemic.

Honestly, the bible is right and just to call people sheep, since it seems with this 'sky is falling' about the flu... THE FLU... they're simply doing exactly as the government wants them to do... LOOK THE OTHER WAY. The quietest man is a distracted one... and brother, is the world distracted.

I'd roll my eyes, but I don't want to be troubled with peoples stupidity. It hurts my common sense too much.

p.s. There was another 'interesting' article in the business section how Millenials are doing their part to keep the economy vibrant. You bet your ass they are... no age group in the country is going into debt faster then them! ... and doesn't that help everyone?!
Now I'll roll my eyes.
