Klatu is then taken to Walter Reed Hospital
(when it was still a decent hospital) and treated for the wound he himself heals. Klatu then gets out amongst the people, without them knowing who he is, and gets a feel for the people and how they think. When all is said and done he has Professor Barnhardt (the insert photo here) get together all the top scientists of the world and warns that if they keep up with their aggressive ways and hostile intentions then bad things are going to happen to the planet, all the while the Army tries to control everything,
forever in bed with the media, who was doing their part to whoop up hysteria, thereby making people afraid to leave their homes and suspicious of their neighbors.
Sound familiar?
If only the bullshit of this phony virus could be brought to life as this story unfolded, the world would be in a much better place. Klatu wasn't here to harm, but to assure people they must calm their angry tendencies. Unfortunately, that's the last thing any government on earth wants at this moment, because feeding the Beastly Harvey is precisely what's making them richer and richer and richer...
