Yesterday we got a 'free' paper in the mail and knowing that I love to read a paper, I thought, I'll browse it and if it seems any good I'll get a subscription.
A page falls out, it's the information on getting said subscription and once the 'introductory' price is over, it will cost 160 for fifty-two papers... that's $3.08 a paper, something I will not do unless it's the Wall Street Journal.
But... I perused the testimonials and thought, let's give it a chance. All the raves were that it was 'honest' news and that it purported the truth. Okay, let's see.
It came in four sections, like the Sunday paper does and every single section talked about two things: the pandemic and China, China and the pandemic. The pandemic and China, China and the pandemic.
I put it all back together and thought, hum... that's true and unbiased reporting? Wow, I guess I'm really old fashioned, because it sounded even more propagandized than the Sunday paper.
You never know how far someone will go in order to sell you something-
Like a pandemic... or this bullshit newspaper.
