Advancement of mankind: Fact or Fiction

Sometimes I get to thinking about the ramifications of the pandemic stupidity and it frightens me. Why? Because this is a way in which the rich can- 1. get more money. 2. keep the people in line. 3. do things out of the sight line of other people (and most likely very dirty things and I don't mean in a porn sort of way).

Besides all the insidious things the evil ones are doing, let's realize what all this really means in the long term - NOTHING IS GETTING DONE. With the idiots in charge continually closing things or shutting things down, it means less forward momentum or progress of any degree, which makes no sense. If you wanted to rule the world, wouldn't you want to rule a world that was advancing and not retreating? When the mass foreclosures begin with more and more people having less and less money (than even right now), the rich will be sitting on their piles of money and thinking its all G... when it's not. Its the little people who are creating that pile they sit on and when they stop contributing, the pile they have is the ONLY pile they'll have.

Aside from that, their asinine behavior results in no advancements in science, math or any field that matters. We're already well on our way in the dumbing down of schools that they no longer teach cursive, so how long will it be before all kids are doing in school is learning how to get on the computer? And whoopdeshit for that 'accomplishment'. A monkey knows how to get on a computer.

In a classic episode of Star Trek, one of the specialists says the 'sleeping ships' were necessary because of how long it took to travel from planet to planet until the year 2018. 2018? HA! 2018 has come and gone and we're no where near to that kind of technology, because, apparently, all nitwits want out there is cell phones and the moronic life they can be assured of if they waste their lives on the contrivance.

Considering though, the science of a 1960's show like Star Trek, it breaks the heart to think that we won't be anywhere near any of it in my lifetime, but even then, I don't think we'll be near it... ever.

Captain Kirk, the main character from this show (and the image seen in the transporter here) is from the future, 200 years from the future, which means that in 2168 he'll be hopping on that transporter platform and beaming up to the Enterprise, right? Oh... hell no. 2168 is only 148 years from now. Think it's still possible in that short amount of time (when those with the money keep shutting the country down)? Well, think again, because here's how little the human race has advanced since that time...

In 2039, Gone with the wind, Wizard of Oz and the beginning of WWII will already be 100 years old and have we learned anything, gleaned any knowledge that brings about such advances? No. The 'wars' we fight now are incredibly stupid and the movies are lame. Millionaires like Branson and Musk can all tout that they're going into space, selling seats on their over-priced machines of fantasy, but you have to wonder if they have had their 'scientists' making a construct of how to 'create' oxygen in space... cause the last I knew there were no 'oxygen filling stations' out there. Or are their scientists working on how to make food? Or how to keep their astronauts feet on the ground so they always know gravity (which is so important to keeping the human animal healthy)

How about this... we are a universe which coincides with many other universe in the exact same location. When the Enterprise hits warp 1, which is slightly faster than the speed of light (and light, by the way, is very, very slow in comparison to the whole of the universe{s}), then I have to ask... how do they know what objects are in the path of their flight if they've never been to another universe and once you cross that ethereal bridge of warp, you're crossing over into another universe and facing a world of unknowns. Like Captain Ramius moving the Red October through Thors Twins... someone had to go down there and map it out with such precision that it was second nature to maneuver through them. Well, the same holds true for this, for light speed, someone had to slip this surly bond and go into the next level of higher frequency, and see what's there. Then you start talking about warp 2, 3 and so on... think of all the exploration that must go on in order to assure these star ships can make such a journey without killing themselves, because how things are placed in this universe does not mean they're placed like that in the next.

Captain Kirk has also said that there was no hungry in the future and no money... Yeah, right. Not as long as the greedy remain so, because they're the ones assuring the world that we're never going to get anywhere as a species, simply from greed. Hell, even in Star Wars they never even left their own galaxy, Bespin and Noad are right there, in their galaxy, which they never venture out of... probably for the same reason... greed.

Which leads me back to the start of this thread, how this entire world is atrophied from the foolish constipation of the wealthy. Imagine what would happen if the wealthy finally opened their purse strings? Elvis Presley said what good is money if you can't spend it to help others? And he was the king in helping others.

So, in 148 years people will have faster, more curious cell phones and not be able to communicate with another living being for fear of catching something... and no one with a functioning brain cell will still be around to make sure that doesn't happen. We're all riding the stupid highway of dimwitted morons who not only are causing this bullshit, but the ones who believe it... you know the ones, who vote in a school levy and yet schools are barely running today...

Gone are the days of Saturn 5 missions where we at least appeared like we had a modicum of intelligence and were attempting to better ourselves...

Ask someone what the capital of Vermont is... odds are great they won't know. Ask them to point out on a map where Vermont is... odds are even better they couldn't. But they could give you a litany of useless nonsense on their cell phones.

And that is how those in charge of this bullshit are keeping the mindless content. While the rest of us, with functioning brain tissue are standing back, trying to fight the tsunami of stupidity... and losing our battle.

148 years to irradicate hunger and have money become obsolete... Never happen. Why? Because as long as humans are here, they'll forever be greedy, stupid and thoughtless ... and you can't be any of these things if you want to save the world from itself.

Oh, and by the way, here's just how disgusting the wealthy greedy have become... we got a recorded call the other day, from the Mayo Clinic, wanting to make sure we'd been tested for covid and that they were preparing a vaccine and be sure to get it! They PAID a company to get our phone number... they PAID a company to buy machines to call our number ... and they're hoping like hell that we're part and parcel of the brainless cadre who believe in this bullshit.

In the words of the Wicked Witch of the West - What a world.
