The Rotten Onion

Yesterday I saw a news headline that said Pres. Biden was mourning the loss of 500,000 people now from the bullshit flu. I read the headline again and again and couldn't figure out, aside from the obvious (it being bullshit to start), why it was upsetting me so... then this morning it hits me. Aside from the fact that it's been four, count em - four flu seasons since this 'began', of course there are going to be that many deaths from the flu... but beyond that what really irritated me is the fact that a president is mourning dead from a flu, when how many people are dead from other things? Okay, okay... that was a schmuck question, since during this 'pandemic' there hasn't been people dying from anything else. EVERYONE's died from this bullshit, don't you know?!

I digress... which I tend to do, a lot, when stupidity reigns supreme... and brother, is it!

When the Nazi presses aren't working so diligently to lie about everything, normally 2,500 people, in America, die, per day, from cancer. That means in twenty days 500,000 people have died from cancer. Have you ever in your lifetime, seen a president mourn THOSE PEOPLE? When my dad died of it, or my friend's sister, or my friend... or many others did, I never saw any president mourning for them. WHY NOT? Aren't they Americans? Aren't their lives as important to mourn as anyone else's? If not, WHY THE HELL NOT?!

I am so offended and ashamed, but worse yet, the level of stupidity rampant in this country right now is like a hairy rancid onion, that stinks like shit and you barely want to touch it to get rid of it. 

Just when I think it can't get any more ridiculous I see a news story like that and think... my god, when did we decide, as a society, to make the flu priority one?
