Tonight while watching the classic Star Trek episode "Space Seed", we were rather amazed when we heard McGivers say that sleeper ships were necessary until the year 2018. I then said to my husband with a laugh, that we were no where near to that technology...

Which made him look at me and respond, "It's 2020 and we can't even get outside our house!"

I hope someone will root out this shit for what it really is, because the destructive path coming after it will be far worse than a few hundred dying of the flu could ever be.
